ABOUT THIS ROLE
Patrick Ta Beauty is looking for a seasoned and highly motivated Marketing professional with
proven beauty experience to lead brand development and product marketing for our high
growth brand. This strategic leader will lead new product launch positioning and go to market
strategy, as well devise robust annual plans to support core franchises, and will be responsible for
key aspects of brand development including brand health tracking, creative campaign
development, and artistry strategy. Role will work closely with Sr. Director, Consumer
Engagement to deliver GTM strategies, differentiated product positioning, and compelling
consumer insights that will set up channels for successful marketing activations, and with
internal and external Creative teams to deliver breakthrough, elevated concepts and best-in-class
assets that can be leveraged across all marketing channels. This is a full-time role based in-house
in our office in Los Angeles and will report to the SVP, Marketing.

Since launch, the brand has achieved top-tier rankings at Sephora, with a cult following among makeup artists, celebrities, and everyday beauty enthusiasts alike. Patrick Ta Beauty is shaping the future of modern luxury beauty, pushing boundaries with pro-inspired innovation that meets consumer-friendly functionality.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand Development
- Brand Health : Lead the tracking and communication of brand health metrics across the funnel including Brand Awareness, Consumer Profile shifts, Purchase Drivers, NetPromoter Score and Brand Loyalty Metrics.
- Translate consumer insights into actionable strategies to drive product development, as well as influence marketing, retail and communications plans. Champion and share key learnings with the full marketing organization, as well as key agency partners.
- Brand Identity : Own and champion the brand identity (brand book, promise, purpose, brand voice) and work with creative teams to keep key documents up to date
- Brand Purpose : Partner with SVP Marketing to develop brand purpose platform and activation strategy, rooted in brand campaign, Beauty That Brings You Out
- Artistry Strategy : In partnership with SVP Marketing, develop 3 year strategy for brand artistry engagement across all aspects of the business including :
Patrick Celebrity glam
Brand-owned MUA engagementTop Tier Celebrity artistry partnershipCreative Campaign Development :Lead the briefing and development of new launch campaign assets with internal or external creative teams, crafting thorough briefs with compelling USPs to ignite creativity and deliver best-in-class campaign concepts
Lead development of all retail-first assets (Sephora p page, EDU videos, etc.) in partnership with Trade Marketing managerOversee development of ecommerce assets to ensure alignment with brand codes, approved product positioning, and competitive best practicesLead developmet of best in class creative assets for paid media, optimized for each stage of the funnel; partner with media agency and VP of Ecomm to continue to test and learn and try new creative formats. Liaise with Influencer team to secure UGC rights to boost in Paid, as needed.Product Marketing
NPL Positioning : Partner with Product Development and Operations teams to successfully bring new products to market with differentiated positioning, unique Patrick Ta artistry POV, compelling, brand-right claims, and competitive pricingPortfolio & Category Strategy : Shape key franchise and product portfolio strategy and architecture including white space opportunities, category refreshes on a rolling 3-year basisLaunch Calendar Development : Partner with PD and Sales on 3-year calendar roadmap and keep larger Marketing org updated on launch date timing and shiftsGo To Market Strategy : Develop robust "Go-To-Market" strategic decks that clearly define product positioning, competitive set and consumer target and provide a seamless handoff to the Consumer Engagement teams (Social, Influencer, PR, Events) to bring the campaign to life in marketTrade Asset Development : Partner with trade marketing team to develop and deliver bestin- class retail marketing assets across in-store displays, visual merchandising, p page assetsSephora Partnership : Partner with Account lead to develop compelling Sephora market decks with differentiated positioning and GTM approachWE THINK YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT IF...

8-10 years of experience in Brand / Category Mangement or Product Marketing in the industryProven success in high growth business with an entrepreneurial cultureExperience scaling brands at Sephora and expertise building market decksExpertise in product positioning, competitive analysis, and go to market strategyExperience with consumer insights and brand health metricsCreative problem solver and desire to pioneer (comfortable with ambiguity and "finding a way")WHAT WE OFFER
