Spanish - English Interpreter

Facilitates total communication between Spanish-Only speaking employees and department management. Assures Spanish-Only speaking employees are properly trained and facilitates understanding of departmental and company policies and procedures.

Essential Duties

• Assists in the development of the Spanish-Only speaking programs / activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Associates degree / equivalent.

Minimum Experience

Two (2) years’ experience in Spanish / English language interpretation. Demonstrated proficiency in Spanish and English languages, oral, written & reverse interpreting. Certified Spanish-English interpreter or translator.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Comprehensive knowledge of Spanish-Only speaking culture and the needs and concerns of Spanish-Only speaking persons. Strong human relations, oral and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.
