Job Purpose

Lead the Accounts Payable (AP) function with integrity and precision, ensuring timely and accurate financial operations that support NAC's mission of empowering tomorrow's leaders. This role plays a critical part in building a stable and scalable financial foundation by maintaining strong vendor relationships, optimizing financial systems, and mentoring AP staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee AP operations within the enterprise financial system (e.g., NetSuite)
• Supervise, manage, and mentor the AP team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance AP efficiency and accuracy
• Stay current with industry best practices and ERP system updates
• Generate and review daily, weekly, and monthly reports, metrics, and batch information
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Resolve vendor issues professionally and efficiently
• Compile and audit annual 1099 vendor reports and file 1096 forms
• Perform other duties as assigned
