Job descriptionUse our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and clients with security-related inquiries and directions Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unauthorized access and identify security issues Maintain detailed records of access control activities, incidents, and observations Support emergency response activities, including communication with local authorities and management Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available At least 1 year of security-related experience is required Access control and / or badge experience is preferred CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles High school diploma or equivalent Background check as required by law; qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered consistent with applicable laws Drug screen required as a condition of employment, where permitted by law Licensing requirements may apply depending on state / local regulations A valid driver's license required for driving positions only Flexible Scheduling : Open shifts that align with your availability Career Growth : Path to full-time roles and ongoing paid training Smart Tools : Real-time shift visibility and claiming technology Full-Time Benefits : Health insurance, 401(k), and comprehensive benefits Employee Perks : Discounts at restaurants and entertainment venues

As an Access Control Officer, you will support security-related operations within a financial institution environment. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols to deter unauthorized access and incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.
