Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and implement Kafka Connectors (HTTP / HTTPS Source & Sink) to integrate with external APIs and systems.

Configure, deploy, and manage Kafka Connect clusters within Confluent Platform .

Work on Confluent Kafka in On-Prem and Google Cloud environments.

Ensure data schema evolution, compatibility, and performance optimization .

Implement security measures including SSL / TLS, OAuth2, Basic Auth, and authorization for Kafka Connect.

Troubleshoot issues related to Kafka Connectors, tasks, and workers.

Collaborate with dev teams to design scalable data ingestion and delivery pipelines .

Document connector setups, best practices, and operational procedures.

Stay updated with new features in Confluent Platform and Kafka ecosystem.

Experience Required :

8+ years of IT experience.

Strong knowledge of Kafka Connect architecture (connectors, tasks, workers).

Hands-on with HTTP / HTTPS Source & Sink Connectors .

Proficiency in RESTful APIs and integration patterns.

Exposure to Kafka cluster management & security configurations .
