Job Description
We are seeking skilled Mig / Tig Welders to join our team at a leading boat manufacturing facility. The primary responsibility of this role is to set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment to ensure precision and quality in metal components.
Responsibilities
Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments.
Monitor welding processes to prevent overheating, warping, or distortion.
Inspect workpieces for defects and verify measurements using templates or straightedges.
Detect faulty equipment or defective materials and report to supervisors.
Set up and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade.
Apply knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques to determine proper methods.
Repair products by dismantling, reshaping, and reassembling parts using cutting torches and hand tools.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of welding experience (Mig / Tig preferred).
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Familiarity with welding safety standards and practices.

This is a contract position based out of Edgewater, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
