Quality Assurance Lead

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Lead to oversee quality assurance processes in support of a government-based enterprise IT and infrastructure contract. The Quality Assurance Lead will play a critical role in ensuring that all deliverables, services, and processes meet defined standards, align with mission requirements, and comply with federal quality frameworks. This position is responsible for implementing robust quality controls, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring contract performance consistently exceeds expectations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and lead the execution of the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP)
• Establish practices and solutions that meet or exceed expectations for deliverables, standards, policies, and procedures
• Certify all deliverables under the program's Quality Control Program while maintaining a detailed audit log of delivered items
• Provide Quality Management and Continual Service Improvement through analysis of reports, ticket data, and ongoing customer engagement
• Review monthly performance reports and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements
• Document within the QAP how quality will be embedded and standardized across all components of the contract
• Develop the QAP with sufficient detail to enable program oversight teams to validate and inspect alignment with performance objectives and SLAs
• Oversee program reporting and deliverables to ensure requirements are met and completed on time with the highest quality
• Ensure comprehensive and timely deliverables, strict adherence to standards, and effective communication across stakeholders
• Lead cross-functional quality initiatives and enforce accountability in collaborative environments

Security Clearance : Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance is / may be required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

Physical Requirements : Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting up to thirty pounds, as necessary.
