Our client is a financial services leader currently seeking an Accounting Senior Manager for their rapidly growing international team. The ideal candidate will assist with leading the team to build and develop operational accounting and month-end close processes. The Manager will also play a critical role in managing and actively participating in the accounting cycle all while helping design new processes that leverage technology to drive efficiency as the Company innovates and scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex accounting processes, accounting transactions, and account reconciliations for all
corporate areas during the month-end accounting close cycle
Build and grow cross-functional relationships to collaboratively work together to resolve month endissues and solve process efficiencies
Oversee the day-to-day activities of the corporate accounting function, with a focus on processimprovements, automation and analysis of the business results to support scale and growth
Lead critical accounting projects, including being a subject matter expert for cross functional groups inareas such as consolidation and revenue recognition
Interface with the Company's external auditors & tax professionals on coordination of quarterly andannual audits & filings
Support and develop continual improvement and implementation of internal controls throughoutfunctional accounting processes
Participate in special projects, analysis and reporting as required by managementSEC reporting and capital calculationsInterface with trading operations team on daily activities and reconciliationsRequirements
Bachelor's Degree required, accounting, economics or financeCPA REQUIRED5-8+ years accounting experience; experience with a regulated firm, broker dealer or bankExperience of capital markets strongly preferredExperience with a large ERP software (Netsuite a plus, Enfusion preferred)An understanding of financial reporting systems, procedures, and controlsStrong organizational skills, attention to detail and prioritization capabilitiesDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing prioritiesStrong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of management and work in a team-oriented environmentAbility to collaborate effectively with business partnersApply for this position
