What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage full-cycle U.S. tax compliance for assigned funds and legal entities, including data collection and final return filingReview federal and state tax returns and investor K-1s, ensuring oversight and quality assurance across all filingsRespond to investor tax inquiries with clear and well-written communicationCollaborate with fund accounting and operations teams on recurring processes and ad-hoc tax-related requestsConduct monthly ASC 740 assessments and review PTET tax withholding calculations within tight deadlinesWhat is Required (Qualifications)
4-6 years of experience in hedge fund tax compliance and reportingDemonstrated expertise in partnership taxation (Subchapter K) for hedge fundsDeep understanding of IRC provisions applicable to hedge fundsSolid experience in preparing and reviewing tax forms, including PFICs and CFCsBachelor’s degree in economics, finance, accounting, tax, or a related fieldHow to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
