Job Responsibilities :
Fueling Growth :
- Provide and negotiate competitive freight rates with carriers.
- Proactively procure new carriers based on volume and lane density.
Precision in Execution :
- Manage daily shipments, ensuring seamless pick-up and delivery operations.
- Collaborate internally for pricing strategy and flawless account implementation.
Communication Excellence :
- Communicate effectively internally and externally, resolving transportation challenges with urgency and professionalism.
- Collaborate with Driver Services to track and ensure the successful completion of each load.
Market Mastery :
- Maintain a strong grasp of market dynamics, including shipping lanes, geography, and seasonality.
- Exceed monthly goals as set by department leadership, applying your strengths to all aspects of the business.
Continuous Improvement :
- Utilize feedback to transform weaknesses into strengths.
- Provide fail-safe service on every load, handling and communicating issues professionally.
Requirements :
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Experience in freight brokerage or account management.
- Proficiency in Google Drive and Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, reports).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitasking with attention to detail.
- Availability after hours and on weekends if needed.
- Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Strong work ethic.
- List of carriers in Mexico that you have personal relationships with
