Develop and relentlessly communicate a compelling product vision and strategic roadmap, ensuring alignment across all internal and external stakeholders.
Assess the markets, define a go-to-market strategy for the product line and assure its execution and alignment with stakeholders.
Assess the competitive landscape across key Islamic finance hubs (e.g., GCC, Southeast Asia, UK), prioritizing solutions that drive Net Profit Margin (NPM) growth for our partner banks.
Make sure our products are compliant with AAOIFI, IFSB, or local central bank standards (e.g., BNM, SAMA) and proactively manage product sign-off by a designated Shari'ah Supervisory Board (SSB).
Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for engineering teams, translating complex contracts (e.g., diminishing Musharakah) into API models, general ledger (G / L) logic, and event-based accounting rules.
Work closely with customers, prospects and partners to refine our market knowledge and product market fit.
Create and maintain sales and marketing enablement material, related to your product line
Create sufficiently-detailed product requirements to be used in written specifications, business rules, flows and use cases as well as supporting calculations and examples.
The requirements must cover compliance tracking for asset ownership, non-netting exposure, profit accrual methodologies, and audit logging.
What You'll Bring
Deep, functional expertise in the mechanics, accounting, and compliance requirements (e.g., deferred profit recognition, risk transfer) of Murabahah, Ijarah, Mudarabah, Musharaka and other contract types.
Demonstrated ability to define ledger states, event-driven architecture, and accounting flows (Debit / Credit logic) in a core banking environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English
A strong analytical and data-driven mindset
Proven ability to manage complex relationships, including Shari'ah scholars, regulatory teams, and technical engineers.
A consultative mindset of listening and learning, understanding and predicting customer and partner needs to find simple solutions out of complex use cases.
What You'll Get
Join us to shape the future of banking, where your professional growth is equally as valued as your personal well-being.
As part of the recruitment (or HR onboarding) process, you will be required to obtain authorized criminal background and credit screening results, as well as be queried against a sanctions / anti-money-laundering / counter terrorism financing / politically exposed persons screening service and your employment is conditional upon approval of these results.
At Mambu, we encourage all interested candidates to apply, even if they don't meet every listed qualification, as we value diversity and recognize that experience doesn't always perfectly align with job descriptions. We are committed to providing equal opportunities for applicants with disabilities; if you need assistance during the application process, please contact talent.acquisition@mambu.com.
