Are you an experienced CDL driver who enjoys staying close to home while keeping operations running smoothly? Join Dexter , the industry leader in trailer and towing components, as a Class A CDL Yard Driver at our Springfield, MO Distribution Center . In this vital role, you’ll help ensure products move efficiently between our facilities — supporting warehouse operations, maintaining yard organization, and playing a key part in our daily logistics success.

Key Responsibilities :

Operate a Class 8 tractor with a 53’ dry van (up to 80,000 lbs).

Shuttle trailers between Central Warehouse, DATs, and off-site locations.

Stage trailers at docks for efficient loading / unloading.

Complete daily pickups (including Redline Products by 3 PM).

Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain DOT logs.

Support local deliveries and assist in warehouse operations as needed.

Keep truck and trailer clean, organized, and compliant.

Maintain a safe, efficient yard environment and assist with warehouse tasks (receiving, picking, packing, etc.).

What You’ll Bring :

Valid Class A CDL and 12+ months of commercial driving experience .

Experience with dry vans preferred.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to a height of 60 inches.

Dependable, safety-minded, and willing to help wherever needed.

Team-focused attitude and pride in doing the job right.
