Ice Center Operations Manager (Ice Center)

SUNY Broome Community College is seeking an experienced and motivated Ice Center Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations and scheduling of the campus Ice Center. This role oversees programming, events, staff, budget, and facility maintenance, ensuring a safe and welcoming space for all.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Manage daily Ice Center operations, including staff and student worker supervision, training, and evaluations.
• Coordinate scheduling for rentals, leagues, and community events.
• Oversee ice and facility maintenance, including routine and emergency repairs, and ensure safety compliance.
• Prepare and manage the Ice Center budget.
• Plan, promote, and staff events, coordinating employees, volunteers, and support services.
• Manage setups and breakdowns for multi-use events.
• Ensure safe operation of resurfacing and maintenance equipment; train staff in proper use.

Additional Information :

The minimum salary for this position is $68,361. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
