We are seeking individuals for multiple roles for our client within their Mortgage Servicing and Mortgage Originations Operations Strategy teams, primarily based in Riverwoods / Chicago.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement operation strategies relating to mortgage servicing or mortgage origination.
- Manage third-party vendors and monitor contract management.
- Own and manage processes relating to Loss Mitigation, Escrow, Forced Placed Insurance, or other areas as applicable to the role.
- Innovate and re-engineer deliverable channels towards operational goals.
- Ensure streamlined and differentiated customer experiences.
- Monitor and escalate risk and customer-impacting issues to management.
- Independently contribute while reporting to a Senior Manager.
- Lead initiatives and develop strategic enhancements.
- Manage analytical initiatives to evaluate strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Recruit, develop, and coach talent to identify, manage, and escalate risk.
Requirements :
- Experience in mortgage servicing or origination operations strategy.
- Demonstrated understanding of related processes such as loan boarding and collections, escrow, and forced placed insurance.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage and coordinate teams.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Adeptness at risk management and escalation.
- Experience in vendor oversight and contract management.
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid work setting, primarily based in Riverwoods / Chicago. Some roles may open to national candidates.
- Capability to work independently, while effectively reporting to a Senior Manager.
