Overview
Reports to : CL Processing Supervisor I or II, as assigned.
Functions Supervised : None
Primary Functions : Process, follow-up, and fund direct consumer loans. Provide support and service to members and branches.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Become knowledgeable about Consumer Lending products, services, and processes.
- Learn to become proficient in offering products and services on eligible loans.
- Learn to perform all tasks, in assigned queues, leading up to the creation of loan documents and funding or disposition of personal consumer loans and credit cards.
- Produce an acceptable quantity of loans with a high degree of accuracy that meet service level agreements and loan volume objectives.
- Perform all duties accurately, earnestly, and honestly, and maintain a high-level confidentiality to safeguard member's information.
- Comply with all federal and state laws, rules, and regulations, and Credit Union policies, procedures, and practices.
- Respond to all inquiries within established service level agreements.
- Communicate with everyone in an articulate, diplomatic, and professional manner.
- Assist in all other areas of Consumer Lending, of similar or lower category, as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent
Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education : Not Applicable
Experience / Skills : Applicants must have experience, acceptable to management, in performing varied tasks, under strict time constraints while meeting performance standards and maintaining accurate records. Must be well organized, articulate with effective written and oral communication skills, ensuring completeness and consistency. Proficient in end user computer technologies.
Tenure : Assignment to Consumer Lending Processing Specialist I (Category 14), Consumer Lending Processing Specialist II (Category 13), or Consumer Lending Processing Specialist III (Category 12) requires meeting proven acceptable performance standards as established by management. Management may consider Consumer Lending related work experience and / or accelerated training completion in lieu of tenure.

Consumer Lending Processing Specialist I (Category 14) : $45,633 - $66,624 annuallyConsumer Lending Processing Specialist II (Category 13) : $49,284 - $73,391 annuallyConsumer Lending Processing Specialist III (Category 12) : $53,226 - $81,405 annuallyStarting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable and will fall within the range provided above.
In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall within the minimum to midpoint of the listed range.
