RESPONSIBILITIES :

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior UX Designer in Columbus, OH.

Summary :

The Senior UX Designer will work with multiple teams to deliver designs iteratively and guide the design process. You will integrate brand into digital projects and maintain consistent user experience.

Essential Functions :

Work on multiple projects simultaneously with multiple teams and manage deadlines

Quickly learn and gather relevant information to guide design direction and create holistic visual design solutions that address business, brand, and user requirements

Develop wireframes, prototypes, specifications, style guides, visual assets, and other design deliverables

Clearly present and instruct teams on design vision and process

Integrate user testing feedback into designs and constantly learn about how users interact with products

REQUIREMENTS :

2-5 years of professional design experience in a consulting or in-house environment

Experience taking designs from workflow diagrams to high-fidelity wireframes

Core interaction design skills with consumer facing apps and high productivity apps experience

Responsive design experience and strong interpersonal skills

Experience creating low fidelity wireframes and flow diagrams

Fluency with visual and interaction design tools - Sketch, Adobe XD, Adobe design software suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign)

Portfolio that demonstrates ability to explore, design, and document digital user experiences grounded in user, business, and technical insights

Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

Ready to hit the ground running and work independently

Must be comfortable with critique, collaboration, and co-authorship

Confident in individual expertise and perspective, but eager to learn from others

Must have a strong understanding of the end-to-end design process and evidence of using appropriate methods to inform solutions

A design-related degree, master's degree a plus

Agile UX experience a plus

Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical / dental / vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
