Progress Printing Company is seeking candidates to fill full-time vacancies for Perfect Binder Operators and Saddle Stitch Operators.

The ideal candidate for a Bindery Machine Operator must be capable and proficient performing the set-up, initial maintenance and operation of the binding machines. The perfect candidate should meet production and quality standards, and be able to interpret instructions from job tickets. Additionally, candidates should have the ability to direct a crew, mentor and teach perfect / saddle binder skills, and work as a team. We operate Muller Martini and Heidelberg perfect binders and Muller Martini saddle binders. Interested applicants should share a willingness to serve a cross-functional role throughout the production area as needed.

Candidate must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand for 8 - 12 hours, and have good vision (corrected or uncorrected) with the ability to distinguish colors. The person hired must be able to work overtime when needed. Prior printing experience preferred. Evidence of mechanical skills / aptitude are a must.
