The Commercial Director is a key executive leadership role responsible for developing and executing the organizations commercial strategy to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer satisfaction. This position oversees sales, marketing, business development, and account management teams, ensuring alignment with the company's vision, goals, and financial objectives. The Commercial Director acts as a strategic partner, fostering relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners to maximize commercial opportunities.
Responsibilities :
Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies aligned with organizational objectives to drive business growth.
Revenue Generation : Oversee the sales function to achieve and exceed revenue targets. Identify new market opportunities and oversee the negotiation and closing of major deals.
Market Analysis : Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform commercial planning and decision-making.
Team Management : Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing sales, marketing, and business development teams.
Budget Oversight : Prepare and manage commercial budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Relationship Management : Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and strategic partners.
Collaboration : Work closely with product development, operations, finance, and executive leadership to ensure seamless delivery of commercial initiatives.
Compliance : Ensure commercial practices comply with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
Reporting : Provide regular updates to senior leadership and the board on commercial performance and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
2+ years of relevant experience in commercial leadership, sales, or business development roles.
Proven track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion in a similar industry.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
Experience managing cross-functional teams and large budgets.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Hourly Pay Rate :
Range : $80 - $150 per hour (Equivalent to $160,000 $300,000+ annually, depending on experience, industry, and location.)
