Benefits & Leaves Manager

$110,000 – $115,000 annually
A California-based organization dedicated to serving its community is seeking a Benefits & Leaves Manager to oversee employee benefits, leave programs, accommodations, and workers' compensation administration. This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys managing details, mentoring staff, and ensuring employees receive accurate and timely support throughout their employment journey.
What You'll Do :
- Manage the full scope of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, retirement, and wellness plans.
- Lead all leave-related processes—family, medical, disability, and state-specific leaves—with a focus on compliance and consistency.
- Oversee ADA / FEHA accommodations and coordinate return-to-work programs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with benefit carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators.
- Support HR compliance initiatives, reporting, and audits across benefits and leave functions.
- Coach and develop HR team members to ensure exceptional service delivery and process efficiency.
What You Bring :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (HR or Benefits certification preferred).3+ years managing benefits and leave programs, with 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.Comprehensive knowledge of FMLA, CFRA, ADA, FEHA, COBRA, ERISA, ACA, and related regulations.Experience supporting a multi-site workforce; nonprofit or service-based experience is a plus.Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.Why This Opportunity :
