Founded in 1921, Straub Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai'i. With over 200 physicians who are leaders in their fields, Straub provides its patients with diagnoses and treatments for more than 32 different medical specialties, including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology / diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, vascular and urology. Straub is home to the Pacific Regions only multidisciplinary burn treatment center. The hospital consistently brings new technologies and innovative medical practices to Hawai'i, such as minimally invasive cardiac surgery and total joint replacement.
The Straub Hawaii Kai Family Health Center covers 12,000 square feet of patient care area and offers women's health services, adult primary care, pediatric care and specialty care. The center provides services in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of illness and injury for infants, children, adolescents and adults. We cover the entire age range, from birth to end of life and geriatric care, including specialty OBGYN care for women, who also have access to over 300 specialists and all the services of Straub Hospital.
As the Medical Assistant, you will join the dedicated team of physicians and medical staff that provide our recognized, compassionate health services to patients and their families. In this role, you will perform a wide variety of patient care activities in our OB / GYN department at Straub Hawaii Kai. We are looking for a detail-oriented and attentive individual with strong communications and patient care skills, and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawaiis people.
