Senior Manager, M&A Operations
Join Aprio's Corporate M&A team and help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio Advisory Group, LLC is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Senior Manager to join their dynamic team. This role is critical to Aprio's private equitybacked acquisition strategy, driving buy-side M&A transaction support and post-close integration that fuel the firm's growth. Acting as the "Lead Advisor," this professional orchestrates complex, concurrent transactionsowning due diligence coordination, operational diligence execution, and integration planning with speed and precision. With oversight of more than 60 sub-workstreams across 14 functional areas, they ensure seamless communication, alignment, and execution. The ideal candidate brings deep technical M&A expertise, proven leadership, and the ability to marshal cross-functional teams to deliver on-time day-one close and rapid integrationmaximizing value and minimizing risk at every stage of the deal lifecycle.
Responsibilities :
- Driving value creation and enterprise multiple expansion through crafting deal-specific integration strategies, evaluating strategic opportunities including cross-sell, potential impacts to earnings, and one-time costs, full and assertive business integration execution.
- Leveraging best-in-class project management techniques to manage complex, cross-functional tasks under tight deadlines and under a dynamic, multi-transaction M&A context.
- Delivering across the M&A lifecycle, including negotiation and transaction support, purchase agreement negotiation support, and ownership of day-one operational readiness.
- Planning for integrations by directing 60+ workstreams through diligence insights mining, current- and future- state operating model building, milestone tracking, and keeping a complete, accurate, and timely record of all major Day 1-90 operational readiness activities.
- Acting as the Lead Advisor for the incoming firm managing partner and leadership team for all things Aprio during the integration timeline.
- Ensuring full business and IT integration shortly after closing including application migration, contract transfer, and business process harmonization.
- Acting as transformation lead for enterprise cross-functional initiatives often associated with business integration.
- Interacts with executive leadership concerning matters of significance to the organization as it pertains to integration and transformation.
- Managing one or more Advisors, Staff, Interns, and Offshore support resources.
Qualifications :
8+ years of overall work experience.3+ years of experience in M&A experience (especially transaction support, operational integration & separation planning, and M&A workstream or PMO office leadership experience)Excellent knowledge of core management consulting principles including project management & change management.Proven track record of influencing without authorityExceptional executive presence, presentation skills, communication, and interpersonal skillsExceptional organizational skills including attention to detail, ability to prioritize efforts, and work across multiple initiatives simultaneously.Ability to encourage and facilitate healthy conflict to drive towards root causes of problems, vetted solutions, and enterprise value creation.Ability to visualize, understand and construct complex processes or concepts, developing process maps, diagrams, models, and / or other process documentation. (ie.
