Control Systems Engineering Manager
Reports to : COO
Located in : Tulsa, OK
Cooperates with : Engineering, Sales, Production, Project Management, 3rd parties, Marketing, Field Technicians, etc.
Primary Responsibility : The primary function of this position is to provide technical leadership and management for the control systems engineering function at MIRATECH. This team is responsible for development and integration of control systems solutions that are integrated into numerous products in the MIRATECH catalog. This work includes product design, testing and validation, implementation and field support of deployed products. This also includes partnering and collaborating with 3rd party suppliers, MIRATECH's procurement, marketing, product management, sales and engineering teams as well as customers in the field.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities :
- Recruit, train, mentor and supervise controls engineers.
- Work strategically with key suppliers.
- Sponsor and support product development.
- Ensure projects are executed accurately, complete and timely.
- Work closely with Marketing, Product Management and Sales teams to provide superior products and experiences for the customer.
- Provide detailed, timely project status reports.
- Keep abreast of technological advancements in the industry to aid in recognizing product development / revenue opportunities.
- Complete special projects and other duties as required.
- Model and champion the MIRATECH Mindset in ways that center team culture on these values.
- Abide by and promote MIRATECH's EHS policies.
Qualifications :
Degree in Electrical, Controls or Systems Engineering or equivalent technologist diploma.A minimum of 10 years of experience with a strong background in controls and systems integration.Knowledge of NEC and IEC codes as well as hazardous area classifications.Familiar with AutoCAD design software and Microsoft Office Applications.Proven overall dependability, reliability, and responsibility.Demonstrated self-motivation and ethical behavior.Willing to continuously and proactively collaborate, share, and seek guidance through open dialogue.Excellent communication skills including interpreting and communicating technical information.Time management skills including multi-tasking competing priorities as needed.Ability to generate alternative solutions.Ability to develop new leaders.Proficient in problem solving and troubleshooting.Working Conditions :
