Medical Assistant - Pediatrics - 10 Hours Weekly

Overview

The After-Hours Medical Assistant will provide support to providers by rooming patients for acute visits, assisting with clinical tasks, and ensuring efficient patient flow during after-hours operations. This role also includes triaging patient calls, scheduling appointments, and providing excellent customer service

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs and collecting health history
• Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes and other first aid procedures
• Certified medical assistants may assist with immunizations or injections
• Assist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, update charting and filing
• Conduct onsite lab testing to include : EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose and urine pregnancy tests
• Maintains clean, warm and inviting examination rooms for patient visits
• Provide excellent customer service exemplifying Duly Health and Care CARE values
• Some travel to assist other local clinics may be required

Qualifications

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $21.43-23.63 for a Medical Assistant; Certified or Registered Medical Assistant the base pay range is $22.97-24.57, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
