SCOPE OF THE JOB
Our client is looking for an experienced Sr. Account Manager for their Ulta channel. They are looking for a self-motivated, strategic professional with an outstanding track record in growing sales within Ulta profitably. The Sr. Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Ulta business, with a focus on evaluating and driving POS, managing the P&L, analyzing opportunities to optimize sales growth and maximize contribution margin. This position will report to the VP of Wholesale.
RESPONSIBILITIES
▪ Serve as the primary point of contact for Ulta with a focus on building a strong, long-lasting partnership
▪ Drive the day-to-day business to achieve budgeted gross revenue (sell-in) and POS (sell-through), gross-to-net deductions, and operating expenses
▪ Develop and implement plans to manage and grow the account, including working with cross-functional and external partner teams
▪ Lead assortment optimizations to drive growth in in-store and digital productivity
▪ Lead the visual merchandising strategy for inline and off shelf opportunities
▪ Manage POG fixture and signage updates with Ulta ISM / SEM teams
▪ Own the POG building process with Category Management third party
▪ Lead the development of an annual sales calendar, including key initiatives and secondary placements
▪ Coordinate and communicate needs to support the account across key functions – e.g., fulfillment, marketing, supply chain
▪ Work closely with demand planning to ensure accurate forecasting
QUALIFICATIONS
▪ Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a relevant field
▪ Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales with a focus on Ulta account management and strategy in the CPG industry, preferably Beauty
▪ Demonstrated ability to achieve revenue and margin targets while promoting strong client relationships
▪ Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines
▪ Strong communication and leadership skills, managing priorities in accordance with company goals
▪ Be goal-oriented : set and achieve aggressive goals with measurable results
▪ Willingness to travel as necessary to meet with key account leaders + cross-functional team
