We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead our clients manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in factory operations, with a focus on production line processes and mechanical knowledge. This Supervisor will direct the activities of employees engaged in manufacturing processes including but not limited to, training and supervising, maintaining a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and established policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising employee performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems;managing schedules and workflow.
- Supervise daily production activities and manage the Production lines on the 3rd shift to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met across all lines.
- Enforcing company standards, GMPs, PPE requirements, and procedures.
- Coordinate with Operations Manager to plan for projects. (what resources are needed, as well as project completion timelines)
- Creates work orders, or requests for materials, equipment, or other required items and distributes items to the production line.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Use computer system to track product and production systematically
- Ensures count for items for use on the line to confirm inventory for production and return to stock.
- Oversees arrangement of lines and parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers to meet or exceed production standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery, ensuring proper maintenance and operation.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations within the manufacturing facility.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, including output, downtime, and employee performance.
Qualifications
Proven Supervisory or Management in a production facility : 2 years (Required)Must have a basic knowledge of lean manufacturing and understand and can implement single-piece flow processesBeing proficient in Packmanager(Nulogy) is a plus.Proficient in Microsoft office programs.Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive performance improvements.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.Effective communication skills to interact with team members at all levels of the organization.
