Education and / or Experience
- High School Diploma and 5 years’ related experience and / or training
- Line and Grade experience
- Foreman experience
- May require appropriate craft certifications

Manages cost by adjusting :Crew sizeMake-up of crewMeans and methods to address quality and efficienciesMeets with foremen daily to plan production, review schedules, materials, manpower needs, pre-and-post-pour checklists, and safety requirementsEnsures compliance with Company policies, local labor laws and labor agreements, where applicableAssigns cost codes to time and quantitiesProvides target and feedback information to the crewsPrepares and distributes short-term interval work schedulesInspects work in progress to ensure adherence with SQP processesEstablishes and maintains appropriate security for equipmentOversees the Work of Direct Reports
Supervises, trains, evaluates, and develops direct reports to ensure maximum returns on investmentAddresses complaints appropriatelyProvides guidance, direction, coaching, and support to direct reports to maximize individual and overall department performance.Responsible for holding timely performance appraisals and progress reviewsAssists direct reports in developing sort and long-term goals that align with department and Company mission and strategyEnsures direct reports receive appropriate training that aligns with career development plans. Training may be remedial, ‘maintenance’, or geared to promotionTakes appropriate action to develop direct reports including, but not limited to, preparing and monitoring career development plans, promotions, demotions, lateral moves, corrective action, and progressive disciplineRecommends that direct reports receive timely and appropriate compensationCollaborates with HR to ensure compliance with all employment laws, and related Company policies; may be responsible for conducting training or coordinating workshops related to such complianceEnsures a Safe Work Environment
Champions Incident and Injury Free (IIF) environment for projectEstablishes tone and sets example for Safety Always attitude by ensuring that safety rules are followed and that corrective action is taken when rules are brokenAssumes responsibility for completion of Safety Task Analysis and Tool Box TalksAssumes responsibility for implementation of proper procedures related to work site accidents
