About the Role We are looking for a results-driven and data-oriented Director of E-Commerce to lead the continued growth of VersaDesk’s online presence.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who also enjoys being hands-on, with proven experience in scaling digital revenue, optimizing customer experience, and driving measurable growth across multiple online platforms.
You will oversee all aspects of our e-commerce operations, including website management, digital marketing, and marketplace strategy, ensuring our online sales channels perform at the highest level.
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute an e-commerce strategy that drives growth and profitability across all online channels.
Oversee website operations and marketplace performance to ensure maximum conversion and revenue.
Collaborate with marketing, operations, and creative teams to deliver cohesive campaigns and seamless customer experiences.
Manage product listings, pricing, SEO, and paid advertising to ensure competitive positioning and visibility.
Analyze data and key performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and process improvement.
Oversee integrations between platforms such as ERP, CRM (HubSpot), inventory, and fulfillment systems.
Continuously improve website functionality, user experience, and checkout performance.
Stay updated on new e-commerce technologies, tools, and best practices to maintain a competitive advantage.
Present reports, performance analyses, and revenue forecasts to executive leadership.
Qualifications 8 to 10 years of experience in e-commerce or digital sales leadership, preferably within furniture, interiors, or consumer goods.
Verifiable track record of success in driving digital growth, optimizing online sales performance, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Proven ability to scale online revenue and manage multi-channel operations.
Expertise with Shopify, BigCommerce, Amazon Seller Central, or similar platforms.
Proficiency in Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Looker Studio or comparable tools.
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
