The Job
We are hiring a Director, Product Management to join our Growth team leading the Identity & Onboarding experiences for HBO Max. In this role you will be responsible for delivering a best-in-class authentication, profile creation / management, and first-run onboarding experience for HBO Max. As the “front door” to our streaming product, these flows are used by every customer, allowing them to effortlessly create accounts, set up and switch profiles, and securely sign-in while laying the foundation for long-term engagement and retention. Your key accountabilities will include :
Set Vision & Product Strategy :
Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for Identity and Onboarding, partnering with Engineering, Design, and Data Science to deliver seamless and delightful user experiences.
Team Management :
Mentor, coach, and guide the performance of a team of product managers, communicating a clear vision, goals, and priorities : you know what good looks like and can lead others to high-quality outcomes. Foster a positive working environment. Establish frameworks and mechanisms that help the team achieve maximum impact and bring clarity to ambiguity. Promote a culture of experimentation.
Roadmap Development :
Define and prioritize product features, enhancements, and capabilities. Manage the product roadmap to ensure timely delivery of milestones that align with business priorities.
User Experience : Champion a user-centric approach, continually evaluating and improving the product to deliver an intuitive, seamless, and personalized UX. Analyze customer feedback, collaborate with User Research and Design, and leverage analytics to drive data-informed decisions.
Competitive Analysis :
Stay abreast of market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor products. Conduct comparative analysis and leverage insights to differentiate and improve our product offering.
Stakeholder Management & Communication :
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, Partner Management, Customer Experience, Partner Marketing, and Distribution to align product strategy with business objectives. Effectively communicate product vision, progress, and results to stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.
Measuring Success :
Define key performance indicators and metrics to evaluate success. Analyze data and leverage insights to monitor product performance and drive optimizations through continuous improvement.
The Essentials
10+ years of product management experience, preferably in streaming media
Proven Leadership :
Experienced people leader (managing a team of 3+ people) with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with large teams to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent Product Skills :
Experience developing features and optimizations at a global scale that remove customer frustration and pain points related to user identity, security, sign in, account management, and onboarding.
Act like an Owner :
Strong ownership to ideate and deliver exceptional customer experiences while meeting business needs.
Data Driven :
Proven success leveraging data and trends to develop a strong point of view. Experience with A / B testing methodologies; highly skilled in using data to inform product decisions
Outstanding Communication :
Skilled in crafting concise and customer-centric PR / FAQs, PRDs, and product vision documents with a compelling narrative. Excellent presentation skills, demonstrating the ability to tailor content for the audience, including senior leadership and external partners.
Strong Technical Acumen :
Experience developing consumer-facing experiences across multiple platforms (e.g., web, mobile, connected TVs and set-top boxes) and familiar with auth & identity architecture.
Growth Mindset :
Ability to adapt rapidly in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and / or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range : $178,500.00 - $331,500.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
