About the Internship
We are seeking a motivated Civil / Structural Engineering Intern for a 3-month, full-time internship during the summer of 2026. This program is designed to provide hands-on experience in restoration engineering while building technical and professional skills. The internship progresses through three phases :
- Month 1 Onboarding & Learning : Get introduced to our team, tools, and processes. Participate in safety training, site visits, and shadow engineers on active projects.
- Month 2 Contributing & Applying Skills : Begin contributing to projects by assisting with calculations, reviewing codes, participating in meetings, and learning software tools. Engage in seminars, webinars, and technical discussions.
- Month 3 Demonstrating Growth Through Application : Take on project tasks with guidance from your mentors, contribute to project goals, and present your findings to the team.
This is an excellent opportunity for students who want to experience the real-world application of classroom learning in a professional engineering environment.
What Youll Do
Assist with structural assessments, calculations, and technical documentation.Participate in site visits to observe and document existing building conditions.Gain exposure to design software and engineering tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Enercalc, Microsoft 365).Learn about codes, standards, and regulations that guide structural engineering.Contribute to team meetings, seminars, and professional development discussions.What Were Looking For
Current undergraduate student in Civil or Structural Engineering (junior or senior preferred).Strong academic background in structural analysis and design coursework.Interest in building restoration, structural systems, or construction.Excellent communication skills and a willingness to ask questions.Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn from hands-on experiences.Proficiency with Microsoft Office; exposure to structural software is a plus.What Youll Gain
