JOB TITLE : Care Coordinator

STATUS : Full Time in Office

REPORTS TO : Front Office Supervisor

SALARY : $23-$25 per hour with benefits

SHIFT : Monday Friday 8 : 30-5 : 30

Job Summary :

Join our dynamic team at Premier Pediatric Therapy Source (PPTS) as a Care Coordinator. We're expanding our practice in the DC metro area and need an outgoing individual to be the first point of contact for families seeking therapy services.

Your role involves managing intakes, scheduling appointments, optimizing therapist schedules, and ensuring a smooth registration process for new families.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide exceptional front office experiences for families.
  • Manage referrals and practice waitlist.
  • Schedule appointments and complete registration process.
  • Optimize therapist schedules for improved access to care.
  • Handle data entry and payment processing.
  • Assist with educating families on policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to team success by accepting new assignments and learning new skills.

Job Qualifications :

  • AA Degree or higher.
  • 2-5 years of experience as a scheduler or front desk receptionist in therapy or healthcare, preferably in pediatrics.
  • Ability to build rapport and articulate insurance benefits, policies, and scheduling information.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Electronic Health Records, Microsoft Office, and video conferencing platforms.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
  • Successful completion of FBI background check and negative TB test.

Desired Qualifications :

  • Bilingual in English / Spanish.
  • Experience in a pediatric practice.
