Medical Assistant

A Medical Assistant has accountability for providing care to patients in an ambulatory clinic setting. This will involve caring for patients with acute and chronic needs. A Medical Assistant will be responsible for communicating clearly with patients seeking care through different modalities including telephone and in-person interactions. Monday through Thursday - 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm. Friday - 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm. Please review Minimum Qualifications listed below before applying. As a Medical Assistant at Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team, ensuring our patients receive the best care by :

• Providing Patient Care : Under the direction of the Clinician, providing care to patients by assisting the provider to gather information that is relative to the patient's visit and condition.
• Effective Communication : Communicating clearly with patients seeking care through different modalities including telephone and in-person interactions.
• Team Collaboration : Working with cross functional teams to collaborate on patient care. Attention to detail and follow-through are key components in helping to provide the care that is needed.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $19.87 - $28.31
