Your Impact

WSP is actively seeking a biologist / environmental scientist experienced in the acquisition of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Clean Water Act Section 404 and associated federal and state consultations / permits.

Responsibilities

• Scoping to identify project actions and permit needs.
• Development of graphics to illustrate existing conditions and project impacts.
• Site reconnaissance, WOTUS delineation, habitat assessment, and mitigation monitoring.
• Prepare and review technical reports, analyses, and permit applications.
• Coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies.
• Preparation of environmental reports and supporting materials.
• Coordinate with project managers, task managers, project team technical leads, subconsultants, and other disciplines such as planning, siting, engineering, and PM / CM team members.
• Verifies project adherence to federal, state and local environmental regulatory requirements.
• Participates in project teams and participates in regular program / project planning, execution and delivery team meetings.
• Represents the company at public or regulatory meetings.
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
• Participates in preparation of proposals and / or marketing materials, including qualifications, scopes of work, and fee estimates.
