Duties and Responsibilities :
The Office of Employee Relations in the Bureau of Personnel Services is seeking an individual to work as part of a team responsible for providing advice and coaching to leaders, managers and employees on all employee relations issues. The role provides strong partnership on disciplinary processes, grievance processes, legal issues, investigations, conflict management, etc. The work involves assessing and resolving complex employee relations matters while ensuring consistency in adherence to Department policies and procedures while maintaining a non-biased approach. The role requires skill, tact, persuasion, judgment, and / or negotiation skills to accomplish objectives.
