Auto Palletizer Attendant

Job Summary :

Auto Palletizer Attendant is responsible for accurate palletization of product from multiple packaging lines. Job Description :

Responsibilities :

• Operates computer in order to operate equipment.
• Monitors the equipment, troubleshoots and analyzes problems and makes corrective adjustments.
• Loads stretch wrap and performs material handling functions.
• Performs various sanitation, maintenance, and housekeeping functions.
• Responsible for set up, operational adjustments to production equipment and monitoring equipment to ensure that quality, quantity standards and production standards are met.
• Documents metal detector rejects and equipment status.
• Required to perform and document HACCP tests.
• Contribute within a team environment leading to continuous production improvements.
• Must understand and adhere to Blue Diamond HACCP process and auditing, Good Manufacturing procedures (GMPs) and safety practices.
• May be required to cross train other employees. Required to perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Required Minimum Qualifications :

• Position requires knowledge of machine operation to keep machinery and equipment operating.
• Must have excellent communication skills. Must be able to work under limited supervision. Received guidelines from supervisor / lead operator but is expected to decide what actions to take when handling all but the most unusual task.

Must regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and work schedules. Must have basic math skills. Work consists of a wide range of tasks requiring a high level of problem solving skills that result in solutions from several alternatives.
• Must help maintain product quality while meeting output standards. Must be able to interpret and accomplish tasks and directives described in complex technical, administrative, professional and company guidelines.

Must be able to work overtime as necessary.

• Use of Stairs. Medium to Heavy physical requirements.
• Attendant is exposed to adverse conditions such as heat, noise and a wet work environment .

Additional Preferred Qualifications :

1 year operator experience preferred

Educational Requirements :

High School Diploma or equivalent.
