Senior Specialist, Integration & Test Engineer
L3Harris Technologies has an opening for a Senior Specialist, Integration & Test Engineer. This position will be on-site in Palm Bay, FL. The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and a collaborative team setting. This position will be responsible for providing support to plan, develop, integrate, and space test hardware electronic payloads to customer-funded program effort within our Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) business unit of L3Harris Corporation. This role will be responsible for the requirement and architecture creation for multiple test beds and / or Test Sets. This position will be responsible for leading the development of test software using LabVIEW and / or TestStand. The candidate will also participate in software validation, documentation development (i.e., test plan, procedures), selloff, design reviews, and provide support with resolution of anomalies related to the LabVIEW implementation. The candidate will write test equipment drivers and use the test software to validate and verify requirements for hardware from circuit cards, test beds, to sub-system components and up to spacecraft vehicles during functional and environmental testing.
Essential Functions :
- Responsible of developing LabVIEW Test Architecture to meet all technical requirements and specifications to test space vehicle, payload, and / or test bed(s)
- Responsible of generating test documentation (e.g., Test Requirements Documents, Test Design Documents, Test Plans, and Test Procedures)
- Responsible of selloff, checkouts, and support to all phases of the system Lifecycle (design, analysis, manufacturing, test, verification / validation and delivery)
- Use LabVIEW and software interfaces to process signals from various measurement devices and analyze collected UUT data.
- Develop solutions to automated test benches and systems for monitoring, control, and validation of hardware under various conditions using LabVIEW
- Support the day-to-day execution of the system test and integration tasks for Space Payloads and / or Space Vehicles
- Ability to work independently, with minimal guidance and on cross functional teams
- Support the root cause, troubleshooting, and corrective action process (as required)
- Ability to work extended and weekend hours (as required)
- Travel to support integration activities and post-delivery support (as required)
Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or applicable Engineering Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience OR Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience4+ years of experience in any of the following : LabVIEW, TestStand, Automated Test Equipment (ATE), National Instruments (NI), LabVIEW debuggingActive Secret or Top Secret or TS / SCI ClearancePreferred Additional Skills :
