We have an immediate opening for a full-time Post Producer in our Portland, Oregon based studio.
About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Post Producer to join our Production team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in photo and motion production and will work closely with our Producer to oversee projects from estimate to final deliverable. Success in this role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong client relationship skills, and a positive attitude while managing shifting priorities.
What You’ll Do
Project Management :
- Oversee all aspects of post-production for photo and motion projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
- Coordinate with clients, creative teams, and external vendors to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Generate retouching and video editing estimates in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain a roster of freelance retouchers, editors, and sound mixers for the studio.
- Identify and maintain relationships with freelance talent utilizing cutting-edge tools and techniques.
Workflow & Technology Management
Develop and implement efficient post-production workflows, utilizing the latest software and technologies.Demonstrated proficiency with post-production software, including Frame.io and Box.Maintain comprehensive knowledge of retouching / editing processes, file types, file management, and industry terminology.Stay current on industry trends, tools, and techniques to enhance the studio’s competitive edge.Manage asset organization, file naming conventions, and version control for accuracy and accessibility.Collaborate closely with producers, editors, and other creative professionals to foster a cohesive, collaborative working environment.Quality Assurance
Review final assets to ensure they meet company standards and client specifications.Address post-production issues or revisions promptly, coordinating solutions with the team.Coordinate final sign-off from the Post-Creative Director prior to delivery.Client Relations
Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering tailored solutions that meet or exceed expectations.Present post-production strategies and updates, offering insights and recommendations.Communicate clearly across all platforms, delivering solutions-oriented, white-glove service.What You’ll Bring
5–7 years of experience in post-production, with a focus on photo and motion projects.Strong proficiency with industry-standard post-production management tools such as Frame.io, Box, SharePoint, and Google Workspace.Familiarity with editing / retouching software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Firefly) and DaVinci Resolve preferred.Experience with post workflows for virtual production stages or LED volumes is a plus.Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Exceptional attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-team and client collaboration.Problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.Nice to Have
Experience with and curiosity about emerging technologies.Awareness of advancements in AI for operational workflows and post-production.Ability to identify and integrate tools that enhance efficiency and creative output.This is a fully in-office position. Candidates must be local. Compensation based on experience.
