We are looking for a dedicated Property Administrator to oversee the operations of a residential community in San Francisco, California. This Contract position requires an individual who is detail oriented and passionate about delivering excellent service to residents while fostering a positive team environment. The role involves managing community operations, ensuring compliance with housing regulations, and maintaining financial stability within the organization.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage the daily operations of the residential community, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations set forth by federal, state, and local housing agencies.
  • Supervise team members by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and handling recruitment and personnel management.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, team members, and relevant government agencies.
  • Monitor community finances, including preparing budgets, conducting financial analysis, and managing cash flow.
  • Implement and oversee processes related to accounts payable, receivable, billing, and other accounting functions.
  • Utilize accounting and management systems such as JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and other relevant software tools.
  • Address resident concerns promptly while promoting a welcoming and supportive community environment.
  • Ensure adherence to housing standards and administrative requirements, including tax-related compliance.
  • Develop strategies to optimize financial and operational performance within the community.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience managing affordable housing communities or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to lead and supervise teams effectively in a detail-oriented environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, particularly in fields such as social work, business administration, or public administration.
  • Familiarity with housing regulations and tax compliance processes, including Certificate of Occupancy Specialist certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Proficiency in accounting software systems, CRM tools, and financial management platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and budget processes.
  • Experience with ADP Financial Services and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with residents, team members, and external agencies.
  • Bilingual in Mandarin or Cantonese
