Senior Manager - Data Analytics

Lafayette Group is seeking an experienced leader to manage and ensure successful client delivery of enterprise data management and analytics solutions in support of federal government programs, with a focus on delivering advanced geospatial analysis, data automation, and decision-support tools. This position will involve working closely with senior clients to understand current challenges and opportunities and leading teams of data analytics / business intelligence consultants to deliver high-quality solutions using modern technologies and development best practices. This individual will also be expected to mentor and develop junior team members and foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and enablement within the team, ensuring the successful implementation of data solutions that deliver mission and business value.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise data management and analytics solutions for federal clients.
• Translate client requirements into actionable data strategies, workflows, and decision-support tools that align with policy and program objectives.
• Oversee the integration of diverse datasets (e.g., structured / unstructured, geospatial, demographic, operational, financial) into scalable data platforms and pipelines.
• Manage teams in building interactive dashboards, predictive models, and reporting solutions using tools such as Power BI and ArcGIS dashboards.
• Apply advanced analytics techniques (e.g., statistical modeling, machine learning, geospatial analysis) to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and support investment decisions.
• Guide automation of data processing and transformation using Python, SQL, and modern cloud-based platforms (e.g., Databricks, Azure, AWS).
• Establish and enforce data governance and quality assurance standards across all projects.
• Mentor and coach junior staff, promoting professional growth and innovative problem-solving.
• Present findings and solutions to diverse audiences including federal stakeholders, technical teams, and executive leadership.

Federal Contracts : This position involves working on federal contracts that require all workers on the contract to be U.S. Citizens. Additionally, some contracts may require the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Salary Range : $140,000 - 170,000
