American Traveler is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in Burbank, California.

Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and the appropriate ARRT or NMTCB certification for a day shift position.

Responsibilities

  • Position based in an acute care hospital setting with floating required between outpatient center and hospital
  • Day shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM
  • Work with nuclear medicine imaging equipment and related procedures
  • Charting via Mediteach EMR
  • Locals accepted at the same rate
  • First-time travelers are accepted
  • Scrub color is flexible : any color is permitted
  • Free parking is available
  • Must be able to work three of the following holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day
  • All travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state
  • Time off must be requested during the application process and is subject to approval
  • Returning employees must have a 3-month separation and live more than 50 miles away from the facility

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience in nuclear medicine
  • Current BLS certification required
  • ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required
  • California State license required if applicable
  • Ability to float between similar units as needed
