Housekeeping Supervisor

South Coast Winery Resort & Spa is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our elite Housekeeping Team. Some essential duties include :

• Ensuring that all areas of the hotel are properly cleaned and ready for guests' arrival.
• Anticipating and assessing guests' needs and responding in a courteous and professional manner.
• Interfacing with maintenance / engineering to report / recommend maintenance / repair needs.
• Supervising and assisting staff in housekeeping duties.
• Controlling storage of lost and found items.
• Ensuring housekeeping carts are well maintained.
• Inspecting rooms on a daily or other scheduled basis.
• Preparing accurate and timely reports as required.
• Training, supervising, motivating, and developing housekeeping staff; managing schedules and workflow.
• Assigning duties and monitoring quality of work; assuring staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures and safety regulations.
• Providing day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; actively working to promote and recognize performance.
• Keeping up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions.
• Performing other duties as assigned by Manager.

Compensation : $18.00 per hour.
