Construction Project Estimator

Overview

Midwest Heritage Construction LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Project Estimator to join our team. This position plays a critical role in delivering accurate cost estimates, budget forecasts, and takeoffs that ensure our residential and commercial projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have hands-on construction experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with construction documents and Excel. Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project documents to determine scope.
• Create accurate takeoffs and prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
• Solicit, evaluate, and compare subcontractor and supplier bids.
• Develop budget forecasts and monitor cost control throughout project life cycles.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to refine and finalize estimates.
• Identify value engineering (VE) options and assess project risks.
• Utilize estimating software (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, ProEst, etc.) for calculations and reporting.
• Maintain organized records of estimates and project documents.
