Test Engineer

Test Engineer duties involve the testing, troubleshooting and repair of all airborne and ground electronics systems, major assemblies, subassemblies, chassis and components that are associated with the aerostat electronics. Use of general purpose and special purpose electrical / electronic tool and test equipment is required. Must be able to perform all duties of a lower classified technician. This position is for the Electronics Manufacturing department.

Responsibilities

• Interacting With Computers — Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to program, write software, set up functions, enter data, or process information.

Maintain databases

Resolve engineering problems

Collect scientific or technical data

Analyze engineering design problems, engineering test data, scientific research data or investigative findings, technical data, designs, or preliminary specifications, manufacturing or processing systems

Follow manufacturing methods or techniques

Create statistical diagrams or charts

Education and Experience

Education Requirement : Bachelor's degree in a related Engineering field, or the equivalent amount of education and experience.

Experience Requirement : Three to five years of electronics technician experience.
