Tac-C2 Fms Department Head
The Tac-C2 Fms Department Head is responsible for the oversight of small to moderately sized projects and department. They will play a critical role in achieving the organization's goals by managing assigned project and employee performance, managing various client and subcontractor relationships, and collaborating with our business and operations department to ensure accurate reporting, adherence with local, state, and federal policies, and ensuring the project is operating within contract parameters. This position will directly provide Foreign Military Sales (Fms) Multifunctional Distribution System (Mids) Low Volume Terminal (Lvt) and Joint Tactical Radio System (Jtrs) Familiarization (Fam) events supporting over 40 countries in improving capabilities and providing familiarization on existing systems.
Core Functions / Job Duties :
- Coordinate internal resources and sub-contractors for the successful execution of projects.
- Maintain and manage relationships with clients, sub-contractors and stakeholders of assigned projects.
- Basic project knowledge and technical understanding and / or hands-on experience in department related field.
- Knowledge of the associated DoD policies, procedures and processes required for proper implementation of project plans and milestones.
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility and execution realism.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate techniques.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation to include detailed project plans to monitor and track progress of assigned projects.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques and communicate / report project status and needs to management and associated clients.
- Develop existing staff capabilities, perform hiring and staff management functions in accordance with company policies.
- Provide guidance to team members and monitor their performance, discipline and attendance on a regular basis.
Skills & Abilities :
Minimum of three (3) years and knowledge of : Mids Jtrs Link 16 technical experience.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.Clear translation of thoughts into technical reports, plans and correspondences in methods acceptable to industry standards.Demonstrates excellent clear and concise verbal communication skills.Active communicator, giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate.Solid organizational skills including attention to detail when formulating written products / correspondence.Ability to concisely articulate situations, needs and requirements with management, assigned staff and customers.Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.Develop processes and plans for staff technical and professional capabilities growth.Assign project leads and work with subordinates to formulate team composition to ensure successful service delivery.Education & Certifications :

Security Clearance :
Candidates must have an active clearance OR the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance and will be subject to a US security background investigation (i.e. favorable background investigation / credit score). Additional eligibility requirements for access to various levels of classified information may also be required.
