Certified Medical Coder

A company is looking for a Certified Medical Coder to join their team in a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

Assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and modifier codes based on medical documentation

Ensure compliance with CMS, payer-specific, and regulatory coding guidelines

Conduct internal coding audits and support quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

Current Certification from AHIMA or AAPC

Completed ICD10 Certification / Training preferred

2+ years of experience coding Primary Care or Urgent Care reports

Experience working with coding denials

High school diploma or equivalent
