The Madison office of SmithGroup is looking for a Mission Critical Electrical Engineer to join our team.

Working with us, you will :

• Perform analysis, design and documentation of building electrical systems for data centers including power distribution, Generators, UPS, grounding, and lighting systems design. Experience with medium voltage (35-15KV) power systems in a plus.
• Independently provide the full range of electrical engineering services on small to medium-sized projects.
• Revise, review, and coordinate construction documents.
• Mentor and train junior level staff.
• Develop solutions to challenging electrical power distribution with integrated architecture and engineering project design teams.
• Contribute to SmithGroup sustainable design initiatives by using a variety of software to perform electrical loads, short circuit analysis, generator loads and lighting calculations.

While we may ultimately pay more or less than a posted salary range, at the time of posting the anticipated salary range for this position is $71,000 to $106,000 annually and you are eligible for a performance-based bonus each year.
