What we need:
The E-Commerce Manager is a leading performer that manages E-Commerce projects and processes by leveraging creativity and comprehensive operational understanding. This role plans, designs, develops, and executes the organization’s e-commerce plan for assigned product units by establishing effective strategies and using data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the planning, execution, and implementation of strategic e-commerce programs and initiatives to drive business growth and enhance the online shopping experience.
- Responsible for driving profitable growth and expanding Mohawk's digital presence across key retail partners including Amazon, Wayfair, Costco, Home Depot, and Lowe's.
- Lead end-to-end e-commerce strategy encompassing assortment optimization, competitive pricing and promotion management, and best-in-class digital merchandising to maximize market share and revenue performance.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and project teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Merchandising, Product Management, IT, and Finance to ensure alignment and successful execution of e-commerce programs.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Identify opportunities for improving our e-commerce platforms, website functionality, and user experience to drive increased traffic, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with IT and development teams to prioritize and implement platform enhancements and updates.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of e-commerce programs and initiatives.
- Monitor program performance and provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders, identifying trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
- Leverage creativity and comprehensive process, technical, or operational understanding to resolve a wide range of issues.
- Creatively and strategically support key business objectives and contribute to departmental strategy and goal development.
- Participate in and manages large, cross-functional projects or initiatives with strategic importance.
- Perform high-level critical thinking, detailed information gathering, and application of business knowledge.
- Proactively investigate and/or lead investigations of alternative approaches, technologies, or partnerships.
- Collaborate with and may lead functional or cross-functional teams to generate solutions to complex problems.
- Perform other duties as needed.
What you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
- 6-8 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
What you’re good at:
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce merchandising, content optimization, search visibility, and conversion drivers across digital retail platforms
- Knowledge of budgeting and expense control.
- Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field.
- Recognized cross-functionally as an expert within one or two subject matter areas.
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once.
- Exceptional relationship-building and influence skills with ability to partner effectively with external retail stakeholders and drive internal buy-in for digital innovation and experimentation, while navigating the unique complexities of selling flooring online (shipping logistics, visualization challenges, long purchase cycles)
- High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.
