Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
Strong technical skills and familiarity with principles of electrochemistry, wet chemical, electrical, membrane separation, and water treatment processes.
Experience with laboratory techniques and equipment for water quality analysis and testing is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
Assist in designing and developing electrodialysis systems for water treatment applications, such as desalination, brackish water purification, or wastewater treatment.
Conduct laboratory experiments and tests to evaluate the performance of electrodialysis membranes, ion exchange resins, and other components.
Collaborate with engineers to optimize electrodialysis processes, including flow rates, voltage gradients, and membrane configurations.
Assist in data collection, analysis, and interpretation to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and improve system efficiency.
Support pilot-scale or field-scale testing of electrodialysis systems, including installation, operation, and monitoring.
Assist in preparing technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate research findings and project updates.
Perform other engineering tasks and support the electrodialysis engineering team as needed.
