As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned shelter locations to help create a secure environment for all occupants. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible security-related presence.

Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Assist in maintaining order within the location, particularly in areas designated for shelter services.

Support the enforcement of site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter unauthorized access and / or disruptive behavior.

Minimum Requirements :

At least 6 months of security-related experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
