Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our Public Infrastructure - Infrastructure Design team in our Dallas, TX office. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients.
Expected start date : January 2026 or May / June 2026
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares preliminary analysis on a variety of technical tasks
- Project research, field work, observation and preliminary design calculations
- Take personal responsibility for quality of tasks performed
- Uses CAD to prepare and check working drawings, details, layouts and estimates
- Performs routine analysis to check accuracy of data and work products
- Assist in the preparation of exhibits, plot plans, lot fits or other similar tasks by discipline
