Fiber Optic & Structured Cabling Technician

Overview

We are hiring experienced Fiber Optic & Structured Cabling Technicians for contract-based projects across multiple locations. If you have strong skills in fiber installation, splicing, and structured cabling systems, this is an excellent opportunity to work on high-demand projects with competitive pay.

This role is ideal for technicians who enjoy hands-on field work, traveling to new sites, and delivering quality installations in commercial and industrial environments.

What You'll Do

• Install, terminate, and maintainfiber optic and Cat5e / Cat6 / Cat6a structured cabling systems on contract projects.
• Perform fusion splicing, mechanical splicing, OTDR testing, and certification of fiber optic runs.
• Build out server rooms, racks, patch panels, cable trays, and data closets.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace faulty cables, connectors, and network hardware.
• Ensure compliance with TIA / EIA structured cabling standards and project specifications.
• Accurately document and label all cable runs and network infrastructure.
• Travel to client sites to complete contract work on schedule.
